PONOVO shows up in the conference in Washington State University

On 16th March, PONOVO is invited by Washington State University (WSU) to attend the 2012 Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) conference jointly organized by IEEE. The academic leaders, such as Ken Martin the father of PMU, the equipments manufacturers, such as PONOVO, ABB. ALSTOM, RTDS and FLUKE, and the famous laboratories, such as IEEE and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, are present in the meeting.

The conference focuses on the PMU measurement technology and PMU synchronization phase demonstration. The engineers from PONOVO make demo on the newest relay testing system—POM2-6143. The Relay test set -POM2 serial not only test the relays, but also make the PMU steady-state test. By SEL421 relay test, POM2 shows PMU test ability, but also makes over-current test on SEL421. The whole test is finished through one-key setting by test templates which decreases the test time and saves test human.

In the meeting, PONOVO makes competition with other famous relay testing manufacturers. The equipment’s accuracy and test speed from PONOVO are as good as them. Besides, the dimension and weight is prior to other brands. The PONOVO relay testing system is lighter than 10% of the similar sets. This technical exchange activity promotes PONOVO fame and lays a foundation for the American market.
